22 West Wildwood Way: A Content Pitch

DECK DESIGN

22 West Wildwood Way is a speculative pitch deck for a multi-year content series documenting the restoration of a remote historic cabin. I led strategy, narrative structure, and deck design. Details are fictionalized to protect confidential client work.

HOW THE DECK WAS BUILT

The narrative had to build over years, not one post. I structured the deck around three phases: a pilot post that proved audience appetite, a documentation phase covering the restoration itself, and a launch phase timed to the property's opening. Each phase needed its own pacing inside the deck so a hiring manager or client could see the arc without reading a single word of body copy.

The grid system carries the story's tone. Wide, cinematic image placement echoes the same nature-as-architecture thinking the content itself is pitching, land and structure treated as equal subjects, not backdrop and hero.

Type stayed quiet on purpose. A restrained type system let the photography and pacing do the persuading. On a pitch deck, the fastest way to undercut a strong visual argument is loud typography competing for the same attention.
